Master ultrasound-guided pathology — exclusive hands-on course with CAP-certified faculty

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to announce the 2026 edition of our Interventional Ultrasound Course for Pathologists.

We combine theoretical classes with two intensive, highly personalized hands-on training days. Our program is designed to help you master advanced ultrasound-guided diagnostic and interventional techniques in pathology and cytopathology practice.

Our distinguished faculty is trained and certified by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and brings extensive real-world expertise. The course is directed by Dr. Karen Villar-Zarra a PCA POCUS Ambassador with over 10 years of experience in interventional procedures, including real-time nodule ultrasound evaluation and clinical decision-making within pathology practice.

Together, we have carefully developed a curriculum full of essential knowledge, practical pearls, and evidence-based strategies tailored to the needs of practicing pathologists.

During the hands-on sessions, participants will work in small groups (maximum 5–6 people), using real models and high-end ultrasound equipment, while receiving direct, personalized feedback from the faculty to ensure the best learning experience. The course includes a comprehensive color manual, lunches, coffee breaks, and final certification following a practical assessment.
